Born and raised in Freetown, Jacob is one half of the Golden Twins — a brother, a builder, and a voice for the children Sierra Leone forgot. From rejection in childhood to the stage of House of Stars Season 3, his journey is one of faith, grit, and quiet purpose.
A boy born into difference.
Jacob came into the world with his twin brother Joseph in a country where being different is often whispered about, sometimes feared. Their mother carried both boys through poverty and stigma with the kind of love only mothers from Freetown know — the kind that goes without so the children eat first.
Jacob remembers being pointed at in markets, refused at gates, and taught early that the world's first reaction to twins like them was rarely kindness. He also remembers his mother whispering, "You are golden. Don't ever let them tell you otherwise."
The day a child changed everything.
On an outreach trip into a Freetown slum, a small girl reached for Jacob's hand and would not let go. She had no parents, no school uniform, no shoes — and her grip said everything her words could not. Jacob walked home that day a different man.
With Joseph at his side, he committed to building something permanent: a home, not a handout. A place where children like that little girl would never have to wonder if they mattered. That promise became the Golden Twins Charity Foundation.

Jacob did not enter House of Stars Season 3 for fame. He entered because the prize, the reach, and the spotlight could finally fund the orphanage he and Joseph have been quietly preparing for years. Every vote is one brick closer to that home.
